4 Pearl Harbor General Tojo was the premier of Japan Emperor was Hirohito Also wanted to establish an empire In order to accomplish his plan, he needed to destroy the United States Pacific Fleet, based at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

10 America Enters The War Dec. 8, 1941- President Roosevelt addresses Congress December 7 th was “a date which will live in infamy.” Congress declares war with only one dissenting vote 3 days later, Germany and Italy declare war on U.S.
