ENTRY REQUIREMENTS Competition entries must be in the form of a written Case Study (maximum 1,500 words) in English or Arabic. The Case Study should be an example of a fully implemented good practice within a UAE company in one of two areas: – Integrity-related policies – Towards Integrated Reporting Undergraduate and graduate business enrolled at an accredited University in the UAE are eligible to enter the competition Students can form up to teams of 3 members.

PRIZE FOR WINNERS Depending on the quality of the submissions, the Pearl Initiative may publish and widely distribute a report that includes the best handful of Case Studies, as written by the students. The winning student team (and chaperones if required) will travel overseas for the following prize: – Participation in a Leadership Summit (to be determined), with inspiring Speakers, related to the topics of interest – Flights to the destination with a two night stay in a 5- star hotel – Social activities

TIMELINE 1 February 2014 Students can commence Case Study research 15 April 2014 Deadline for submissions to the Pearl Initiative (university faculties will issue earlier internal deadlines for submissions to them) 16 April -6 May 2014Assessment by the Pearl Initiative team and scoring by the Judging Panel 29 April 2014Winning entry selected May 2014 (TBC)Competition Results and Awards Presentation event in Abu Dhabi
