5. www.AmericanMuslimVolunteers.org info@AmericanMuslimVolunteers.org Two Volunteering Events: Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Eve Collaborated with City Wide Club of America to assist with the “Big Feast” Held at George R Brown Convention Center – full day events. 25,000 less privileged people served hot meals and given clothing, shoes and toys for kids AMV: largest organized group present  ~ 500 Volunteers on Thanksgiving Day; ~ 200 Volunteers on Christmas Eve  All volunteers given free blue AMV t-shirts  Several non-Muslims registered with AMV to volunteer  Volunteers assisted in all aspects of the Event AMV table visited by: Houston Sheriff Adrian Garcia and Congressman Al Green – show of support to AMV American Muslims Volunteers extremely visible doing fantastic work for the Community! Huge Success!!!

Accomplishments Able to pull off a large volunteer effort in a short amount of time  inception to 1 st Event: 6 weeks  1 st event to 2 nd Event: 4 weeks Up and running: Website, facebook page, e-mail blasts, radio announcements, logo, posters and banners; 800 t- shirts designed and printed. Great work done by All Volunteers. Special Thanks to them.
