4 Dutch Schultz Was shot at 10:15 pm on October 23, 1935, Schultz at the Palace Chophouse in Newark and died the next day. During prohibition he and a partner ran speakeasies and rackets in wider NY. Born and raised in the Bronx. He lived in the tough Neighbourhoods of Bergen and Webster Avenues. CLUE 1 CLUE 2 CLUE 3

5 Chester La Mare He was shot dead in his own home by two of his bodyguards Who had made a deal with a rival gang leader. The King of Hamtramck was born in Sicily, Italy. He moved to America in 1902. 6 Dion O'Bannion On the 10 th November 1924 was he shot down by rivals in his own shop was clipping flowers. His North Side Gang ran the Booze trade in Northern Chicago. Torrio fell out with him after a brewery raid. He moved to the heavily Irish area of North Chicago with his father in 1901 following his mother’s death. CLUE 1 CLUE 2 CLUE 3

7 John Torrio After an attack by a rival gang He decided to retire. He died in a barber’s chair after a heart Attack. He was born Giovanni Torrio in Italy. His mother emigrated to NY where he became known as John and the ‘Fox’ His criminal empire in the South Side of Chicago was inherited by Al Capone his second in command. CLUE 1 CLUE 2 CLUE 3

8 Alphonse Capone He was imprisoned for tax irregularities after the trial judge switched the juries. Even though he was a known gangster his business card claimed that he was a used furniture dealer. Whilst acting as a bouncer at Coney Island he was slashed three times on the left side of his face.
