1 Biological and Physiological Effects of Laser Therapy Treatment

2 Overview The new patented Phoenix Thera-Lase system is designed to deliver a new level of laser energy to the body. Phoenix provides a Stronger, Deeper, Broader and more consistent level of laser stimulus than any other non-invasive laser on the market today. It helps relieve acute and chronic pain, accelerates wound healing, and reduces inflammation associated with soft tissue injuries.

3 Major Effects Stimulates Cell Growth Increases vascular activity Reduces swelling Increases metabolic activity Enhances nerve function Accelerates wound healing Reduces scar tissue Reduces pain

4 Stimulates Cell Growth
The Phoenix non-invasive laser therapy accelerates cellular reproduction and growth due to increased mitochondrial activity. The increased mitochondrial activity reduces the production of free radicals in the body and promotes a quicker healing process.

5 Increases Vascular Activity
The Phoenix non-invasive laser therapy induces temporary vasodilatation which increases blood flow and oxygen to damaged tissue areas.

6 Reduces Swelling The Phoenix laser reduces swelling caused by trauma, over exercise, a surgical procedure, or whatever the cause may be. This anti-inflammatory action provides enhanced muscle recovery and improved joint mobility so that normal activity can be resumed quicker.

7 Increases Metabolic Activity
The Phoenix laser therapy increases higher outputs of enzymes and much greater oxygen loads which stimulates and energizes the body’s cells. The cells use this new found energy for a variety of key biological processes, one of which is an increase in ATP production by the mitochondria which allows the cells to heal and repair themselves at a much faster rate than normal

8 Enhanced Nerve Function
Neurotransmission is facilitated by the Phoenix laser system by increasing levels of acetylcholine and serotonin. This accelerates the process of nerve healing, and helps repair nerve damage.

9 Accelerates Wound Healing
The Phoenix laser system stimulates fibroblast development and accelerates collagen synthesis in damaged tissue. It also appears to be antiviral, antifungal, and antiherpetic especially when treating areas that required topical medications and bandages.

10 Reduces Scar Tissue Scar tissue develops naturally within the body when the body goes through any type of physical trauma like cuts, burns, surgery, strains, or sprains. The Phoenix laser system helps reduce and break up scar tissue, softens the damaged tissue areas, and promotes more freedom of movement.

11 Reduces Pain The Phoenix laser system helps reduce pain by increasing the production of the body’s natural pain killers called endorphins.

12 What Makes Phoenix Unique?

13 What Makes Phoenix Unique
The Phoenix Thera-Lase system is more powerful, and penetrates deeper than other healing lasers. It has less absorption into melanin (the skin’s pigment) so it gets the laser light energy to the cells that precipitates healing. The laser treatment consists of a steady constant wave aimed at each designated site for 60 seconds, as opposed to a pulsed wave type of treatment.
