What is Reclamation ? Reclamation is when people fill a part of the sea with gravel and rocks to create new land for new building. Ship using a crane to drop Gravel into the water. To create new land. Dropped Gravel

The Process Of Reclamation ? 1 st an area will be chosen to be reclaimed on. 2 nd People will drive boats and trucks filled with gravel to the area and they will fill it. It takes a lot of gravel due to the depth of the water and the size of the area. 3 rd After filling, the area will be firmed and new buildings will be built. Central land reclamation 12/12/2007

Advantages and Disadvantages Advantages. more land to build new buildings.Hong Kong will be a bigger place Disadvantages. may destroy sea life.takes a long time to complete.Hong Kong’s sea will slowly disappear

What if reclamation continues? If reclamation were to continue, the seas of Hong Kong will start to disappear..On the other hand, there will be more space to build more buildings

Why does land have to be reclaimed ? Because it is one of the only ways to get new land for new buildings and malls to be built. Without reclamation, Nothing new can be built. Part of Hong Kong being reclaimed

My opinion to reclamation I think reclamation is a good thing because there will be more space in Hong Kong. Eventually Hong Kong will be bigger and better.
