Poetry Anthology We will study 14 poems from the prescribed anthology Songs of Ourselves in Term Two. You will learn to appreciate: The theme/s Poetic devices Structure Tone/Style

More importantly You will examine the effects of the language used; Explore implications and develop a personal and sensitive response; and Understand a poem in its social/historical context.
