1. Post Apocalyptic City Builder! Think it's hard to build a city? Try building one on top of the shattered ruins of a previous city! Jeremy Diamond

2. Mechanics Build a new community from the ruined ashes of civilization! Attract survivors! Fight off raiders! Research new technology, or try and cobble it back together from the ruins! Wait, what was that a about an apocalypse?  Fight off monsters!

3. Building Various parts of the terrain will include the ruins of previous buildings You can try to scavenge from these buildings and even recycle them for your own purposes Or, buildings might just get in your way. You're trying to set up a hospital. Do we reeeaaaally need that DMV there?

4. Research Knowing how to make life suck less will make your settlement more attractive to survivors. Survivors will come with patchwork knowledge of technology, and some tech can be found in ruins. Putting resources and manpower towards research will unlock ways to improve the city. Crop rotation? Good thing we got a farmer instead of another computer programmer.

5. Enemies When society fell apart, so did some people.  Raiders will try and attack your city. Things that aren't human are still haunting the city. They're not very friendly. Are they zombies? Are they demons? Are they ghosts?

6. The Goal Build a giant city and usher humanity back into prosperity. Or, just goof off and build a city in the shape of an unmentionable. Open-ended game. Many ways to lose, no official way to win.
