Today with their 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Z, M and X series sedans, with hardtop and convertible variants they have over 60 distinct models. In today market place, the pace of new product development has reached unprecedented levels. The same story is happening across most consumer products. This has placed extraordinary pressure on the underlining technology that underpins everything from manufacturing, through distribution to the eventual retailing. This has placed even more pressure on ICT departments to ensure the technology keeps up with constant change in the Business. 2

This places significant demands on the underlining ICT to automate the new business processes.
