¡Adiós! We most often use Adiós when we will not be seeing someone for a while. For example… You are leaving a store and say "goodbye" to a sales clerk that you will not see again. . . From these two examples we can learn a few things about Spanish. Words that talk about people and end in an –o refer to the masculine version of the word.
