3  AGC sponsored Bills › The Governor signed two of AGC’s sponsored bills › The Governor also vetoed two major bills in which AGC requested veto’s.  Priority Bills › 10 of 12 bills of which AGC requested signature were signed › The Governor vetoed 5 of the 12 bills which AGC requested be vetoed Legislative

4  DIR – Off Hauling Coverage Determination  AB 514 was singed by the Governor despite AGC efforts to obtain a veto.  Storm Water / SWPPP  Permit for Storm Water Discharges went into effect 9/2/11.  AGC is the only statewide construction trade association certified by the state to provide QSP and QSD Training  Our training helps to save our contractors from penalties upwards of $55,000 per day.  National 3% Withholding Requirements  November 21, 2011 Act was repealed  Government would have withheld 3 percent of every $10,000 payment or more to a contractor.  Air Quality  CARB Extended the reporting deadline for the Truck and Bus Regulation to March 30,2012  AGC continues to work with the Governors office and key legislators to ask CARB for a year extension to implement this regulation Regulatory
