28. Learning Management System (LMS) Platform to facilitate teaching and learning in a 21 st Century educational environment. Student Information System (SIS) A software product used to manage the administrative aspects of student information (attendance, discipline, schedules, transcripts, etc.)

29. LMS Study History June 2010, applied for & received a grant to look at the use of technology in teaching & learning. Those involved recommended the formation of 2 study groups (LMS/SIS & MDP) The group was established in the Spring of 2011 along with the Student Information System study group. SC made an initial appropriation of $100,000 for the procurement of the system.
