Cornerstone Cal Station Calibration Software Components l Cornerstone Cal Station - the “core” calibration manager. The complete solution for manual mode calibration management without any other required options. l Cornerstone CalLibs - optional Calibrator Interface Libraries for Cal Station to allow data exchange with documenting calibrators.
3
Cornerstone Cal Station 4 Calibration Modes l Automated: Docking – using automated memory based calibrators Docking CalLibs enable automated interfaces to documenting calibrators e.g. Fluke, Druck, Hathaway, Transmation Create, assign, download, upload and maintain status for calibration routes l Manual: Directed Calibration prompts the technician through the performance of the procedure Manual Docking produces worksheets to use with simpler calibrators and other devices Manual Data Entry for recording other results, including simplified pass/fail for inspections
4
Cornerstone Cal Station Procedures & Planning l Calibration Schemes Each scheme / procedure for calibrating one or more instruments consists of: Pass/Fail Criteria Test Points (individually editable) Calibration Interval Each Instrument is allocated a “Cal Scheme” l Routes Instruments can be grouped to allow for regular calibration activity planning or instruments which are generally calibrated together Routes can be downloaded to calibrators or printed. While in use, each instrument in a route is tracked and it’s status (downloaded/ in use / outstanding) updated until the route is completed. Upon final completion, each work / history activity can be marked by a supervisor as Approved or Disapproved.
5
Calibration Mode 1 Automated Docking l The entire process is paperless. Instrument details and procedures are stored in the calibrator, retrieved at the point of calibration, and the test is run, in many cases automatically.
6
Calibration Mode 2 Directed Calibration l The entire process is paperless. The operator commences the test and the procedure in Cal Station directs the test points and sequence of the test. The data is logged directly into the computer and pass or fail data is determined.
7
Calibration Mode 3 Manual Docking l The process is tracked. The calibration procedure and a customised test sheet is ‘downloaded’ to a printer. As each instrument calibration is completed and entered, the software verifies the results and tracks outstanding test sheets.
8
Calibration Mode 4 Manual Data Entry l The test, having already been completed, is entered into the history database. Each test point is verified for accuracy and a pass or fail result is automatically determined.

Cornerstone Cal Station Results and History l Regardless of the mode used each time a configuration change, calibration or service is performed a history record is automatically created. l Each record contains an ‘As Found’ and where pertinent an ‘As Left’ result. l Results can be viewed: Statistically, using actual engineering units used Statistically, using percentage of span Graphically
11
Cornerstone Cal Station Maintenance Analysis l Trends performance of your instruments statistically or graphically by % of Full Scale accuracy Repeatability Hysteresis Linearity l Allows you to reschedule your instrument calibration dates for the next event or permanently by altering the ‘Cal Scheme’ interval.
