Boathouse Appeal May 2014 #suabcboathouse

Target  Phase 1: Build training suite, refurbish changing rooms and entrance hall, new accessible toilet, move/improve bar and kitchen.  Updated cost £387,000 (May 2014)  £125,000 so far  Need an additional £262,000 to transform the Club #suabcboathouse

How? Rowing clubs raise money from three sources… #suabcboathouse

Grants  Applying to Sport England for £75k in November.  For the bid to be credible we need to have raised or have pledges for two thirds of the total cost ie £250,000.  We are also applying to other grant making bodies, including the Town Trust, for up to £60k.  £387k - £125k - £75k - £60k = £127k #suabcboathouse

Local authorities  Not in austerity Britain or more specifically not in Stratford-upon-Avon. #suabcboathouse

Members  Rowing club appeals are as successful as their membership fundraising.  Three ways you can help: 1.Gift 2.Fundraising event 3.Introducing us to an employer/wealthy individual who can help with a gift or gifts in kind. #suabcboathouse

 £127k to raise…  If we can raise £68,750, over half way there… #suabcboathouse

 Help from the tax man… #suabcboathouse

A place in Club history  Donors giving £50 or more will be celebrated on our Wall of Friends in the new entrance hall #suabcboathouse

Or  The Glyn Hawkins Changing Room #suabcboathouse
