6. Education 6 ADOPT-A-SCHOOL PROGRAM This is a Public Private Partnership between Lagos State Government and business organizations in the state. It’s designed to improve the deplorable state of public schools in Lagos by urging corporate bodies to get involved in upgrading public schools through strategic support in areas they choose. Companies can contribute its quota towards alleviating the infrastructural challenges faced in the Nigerian education by; Renovating of the schools’ infrastructure including roofing Upgrading and renovation of toilet facilities with state of the art plumbing systems, among others. Build and stock a new comprehensive library Upgrade its science laboratory Equip music studios Re-tiling of walls and floors Borehole reconstruction Build hostels for schools Donation of computers to school Training teachers
