3. STEP ONE REGISTER IN VA PORTAL  Go to WWW.BENEFITS.VA.GOV/HOMELOANS/ WWW.BENEFITS.VA.GOV/HOMELOANS  Access VA Portal and Register  Must have a VA Lender ID  See Information for Lenders attachment

5. STEP TWO ISSUE A COE  Issue Certificate of Eligibility Electronically thru Weblgy (VA Portal Website) OR  Mail COE application (Form 26-1880) to: VA Loan Eligibility Center PO BOX 20729 Winston-Salem NC 27120 Toll Free 888-244-6711

6. ISSUE AN ELECTRONIC COE  Log in to ( VA Portal) at WWW  Log in to ( VA Portal) at WWW.BENEFITS.VA.GOV/HOMELOANS  Under Applications access WEBLGY, select Eligibility, proceed to Create a Record. Complete application and submit.  Enter correct Information according to military service records, i.e. Form DD214 to avoid electronic errors.

7. AVOID COE ERRORS  Upload all documents into E-Docs of Electronic application  Proof of service documents are: Forms 26-1880, DD214 or Statement of Service.  Restorations of Entitlement documents are: Recorded Deeds and HUD 1.  Enter Veteran’s information according to his/her records to avoid unsuccessful transmissions. Avoid Typographical Errors.

9. STEP THREE EXEMPT STATUS Complete VA Form 26-8937 WWW.BENEFITS.VA.GOV/HOMELOANS/ Fax form to 727-319-7763 or email FL/HOMELOAN@VBA.VA.GOV Do not send the form if the veteran does not receive compensation disability benefits from VA.

10. STEP FOUR QUALIFY CREDIT QUALIFY  Complete required forms  Loan Application (URLA)  Verify  Credit  Income  Assets  Adverse Data ORDER APPRAISAL  Order appraisal  Thru the Weblgy System (VA Portal)  Request a NOV ( Notice of Value of property)

12. STEP FIVE CLOSE THE LOAN Verify Veteran status has not changed Obtain occupancy certification from Veteran All required forms must be signed by Borrowers and lender. ( Ch 5 lenders handbook) PAY FUNDING FEE Go to HTTPS://VA.PAY.GOV All VA loans, including exempt cases must show a funding fee payment in order to obtain a Guaranty Lender must have a Vendor ID number. STEP SIX Congratulations Steps Completed Steps Completed Thank You GUARANTY VA LOAN  Log into VA Portal to Weblgy  Go into Loan, enter New Loan, select the Automatic option and submit Info.  Data must coincide with COE and Property data. Hit Submit, system will generate a Guaranty Certificate (LGC)
