The Mobility Centre of AUTh (http://mobility.rc.auth.gr/) provides information to the incoming and outgoing researchers concerning the following fields: http://mobility.rc.auth.gr/ 1. Scholarships. 2. Research opportunities. 3. Social security. 4. Taxation. 5. Health insurance. 6. Day-care facilities. 7. Accommodation. 8. Admission and work permit. 9. Language course programmes.

The Mobility Centre of AUTh The Research Committee of AUTh in order to improve the services provided to researchers has established a Reception Mobility Office. The researchers have the opportunity to get closer information concerning their practical needs as well as to have the various problems they face solved. To this end, the Mobility Center has created a network, which consists of the various offices and institutions responsible for drawing the necessary documents to a foreigner, such as work and resident permit, tax office, ext.

Has organized two conferences on Mobility: Launching Event of the Greek Network (November 2004). «Knowledge Based Society and Mobility in the Age of Globalization». Has helped and informed more than 150 outgoing and ingoing researchers. Has gathered more than 40 quality charters from research institutions, laboratories and organizations.

The Mobility Centre of AUTh Questionnaire for foreign researchers working in Greece Following the decision of the Greek Mobility Network, we proceeded with the development of a web-based questionnaire for foreign researchers working in Greece. The Mobility Centre of AUTh Questionnaire for foreign researchers working in Greece Our questionnaire is based on the one created by the Academy of Finland (with few adjustments) The Finnish questionnaire Has been used by other mobility networks as well (e.g. British) Provides the possibility for comparable statistical data across all member states of the Eramore

The Mobility Centre of AUTh Questionnaire for foreign researchers working in Greece 1. Assembling lists with the e-mails of foreign researchers by the MOC and the local academic institutions 2. Publishing hyperlinks to the questionnaire in the web sites of the MoCs (and other sites that we may have access to) 3. Publishing ads for the questionnaire in newsletters, relevant magazines etc 4. Sending e-mail and/or post invitations to researchers for filling out the questionnaire
