Nationalism Nationalism is a feeling of pride in and devotion to one’s nation. It is a feeling that develops among people who may share a common language, history, set of traditions, or goal. –Nationalism inspired the German people to unite into one country What effect did Nationalism have on the German people?

Otto von Bismarck Keeps it Real with Realpolitik No mushy liberal politics the needs of the state are the most important. Power is more important than principles. Big speeches and majority resolutions won’t solve a thing. What Germany needs is “Blood and Iron” son.
