Questions:Notes: What is the slope intercept form of a linear equation? m is the slope (steepness) of the line b is the y-intercept (where the line crosses the y-axis) of the line

Questions:Notes: How do I graph a linear equation? Graph the following equation: Step 1. Plot the point (0,3) on the graph. (this is the y-intercept) Step 2. Pick any numerical value of x, substitute it in for x in the equation and solve for y. This will give you a point (x,y) that you can graph. Step 3. Now you have two points graphed. Draw a line (with arrows that indicate it goes on forever that include the two graphed points.
