12. Conclusions about B. melitensis Denmark: Official free of Brucellosis in sheep/goat in 1995. 1-2 FPSR yearly The official surveillance program for B. melitensis is valuated at the moment.

13. Conclusions about B. ovis ( ovine epididymitis) No official surveillance program so far. Sero positive reactions every year from Danish and samples abroad. Seropositive: 2,7%-0,32% in CFT Not ever detected by cultivation in Denmark (?). Importance of B. ovis/ ovine epididymitis ? Farmers are interested in surveillance ( public task or funds ?)
