7 ELTM47 NAEYC Accreditation Began in 1985 National, voluntary accreditation for programs that serve at least 10 children within the birth through 5 year range, and/or 5 to 8 years (before and after school). NOT for family child care (NAFCC) or exclusively school-age care (NSACA). Must be licensed and running for 1 year +.

11 ELTM411 NAEYC Code of Ethics “Above all, we shall not harm children. We shall not participate in practices that are disrespectful, degrading, dangerous, exploitative, intimidating, psychologically damaging, or physically harmful to children. This principle has precedence over all others in this Code.“
