United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency Continuous CRP Signup Signup ended September 30, 2012 when 2008 Farm Bill expired. Farm Bill now extended until September 30, 2013 Resumed Continuous CRP Signup on May 13, 2013

United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency CRP Emergency Hay/Graze Available on Practices CP1, CP2, CP4D, CP10, and CP38E SAFE when either occurs outside primary nesting season: –40 percent loss of moisture for 4 full months plus current month –Designated as ‘D2 Drought - Severe’ on U. S. Drought Monitor

United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency CRP Emergency Hay/Graze Additional Authorizations – August 5, 2013 Reduced Payment Reduction from 25 to 10 percent of annual rental payment Allowed sale of CRP hay if hay not previously sold during last two years. Expanded practices to CP8A, CP23, CP23A, CP25, CP27 and CP28.

United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency Emergency Forestry Restoration Program Nonindustrial Private Forestland, not farmland 2011 – Requested in Burt, Dakota, Dixon, and Thurston Counties for over $12 million for mostly debris removal. Received $6.8 million on June 3, 2013.

United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency Emergency Conservation Program 2011 – Missouri River Flooding – Received over $15 million to rehabilitate cropland and pasture along the river. 2012 – Niobrara Fires – Brown, Cherry, Keya Paha Counties – Debris removal, fencing, grading/shaping, and seeding. Pine Ridge Fires- Sioux, Dawes, Sheridan Counties Boyd County Fires Keith and Arthur Counties - Fire Received $5.0 Million.
