1 Irregular Verbs In The Past Tense

2 (Camping) Last Saturday, my family and I went camping. We pitched our tent under a tree. Then, we put our things inside the tent. There was a terrible storm in the evening. The wind blew strongly and broke some branches. We were so afraid. We quickly ran into a nearby hut to take shelter. From the hut, we saw a big branch falling onto our tent. We felt very lucky. We decided to spend a night in the hut and left for home the next day. We reached home in the evening.

3 Notes To Be Taken…. The words in bold are irregular verbs in Past Tense. We usually add –d and –ed to most verbs in the Past Tense. We do not do so for irregular verbs. The spelling for the Past Tense of some irregular verbs do not change but most do.
