Locating the Subject and/or Predicate in a Sentence Primary Writing CCS LA 1.L.1c and 2.L.1f Use nouns with verbs in simple and compound sentences. Learning the parts of a sentence helps students in composing increasingly complex sentences of their own. Review the anchor charts with students before using this activity in stations. Add text of your own to reflect current literature or content being studied.
