Human Services & Recreation Department Mission Statement The Human Services and Recreation Department is responsible for: human services, recreation, neighborhood linkages and related activities The Department is committed to: building and maintaining partnerships to protect, promote and restore the personal welfare and well- being of residents and neighborhoods, especially those with limited resources Fiestas Patrias Celebration

Human Services & Recreation Department Pasadena’s Passport To Fun—Youth Scholarship Program Financial assistance for youth 17 and under Qualification based on free and reduced lunch schedule Policy to come before Rec & Parks Commission and Council in April 2012 Pricing recommendations include a tier structure: Third Tier – Fees as Proposed Second Tier -- 50% reduced price First Tier – Free ( applies to camps, after school program and neighborhood camp or on emergency basis) Yoga Class
