IATA Secure Freight What is it? A system to assist Appropriate Authorities in securing the supply chain of Air Cargo by implementing best practices, standards and processes Why? ICAO requires coordinated security assistance using appropriate information-sharing mechanisms When? Since 01 July 2014 it will be an EU standard Kick-off in Russian Federation is scheduled for Q1 2014
