Scientific Information It is important when doing scientific research that you evaluate the information you are finding False information will not be beneficial to your research

Source Always evaluate the source from which your information has come – Is it a reliable source? – Does the information seem legitimate and accurate? – Is the information bias in any way? – Has the information been reviewed by others who deem it to be accurate?

Internet The internet can be an amazing tool for research, but be careful not to just accept everything you read as true!

Research Media Sources You can get your information from many places such as: – Internet – Books about your topic – Encyclopedias – Scientific journals – Speaking with someone who is an expert in your area of research
