Fall Out Shelter Video After viewing the short documentary over the history on fall out shelters during the Cold War, you will have the chance to fully design your own. Reflect Response Questions? 1. What was your first response when you saw the video? 2. Could Americans justify the reason for building one for the safety of their family or a fad and many felt pressure to follow the crowd? 3. Explain how they felt it would protect them from a nuclear attack. 4. Knowing what Americans know now about nuclear attacks, would Americans still be inclined to build a fall out shelter? Why or why not? Planning the process isn’t as easy as you think. Start by listing 10 of the following items you would think you would need in order to survive a nuclear blast. (From the video) Surviving A Nuclear Blast 1.6. 2.7. 3.8. 4.9. 5.10.
