Important because? Holds organs in place. Holds the bones together, so that you can move. Helps you chew food. Pumps blood throughout the body. There are even MORE !!!
4
Functions? The functions of the muscular system, are to allow the body to move it also provides strength, balance, and warmth. If you did not have the muscular system you would not be able to do the daily needs. As in drive your car, write, and walk. So it impacts a huge part in your daily life! It also helps you stay breathing, because it plays a part in the respiratory system. Basically the body has to have all systems to work, but one of the main ones I think will have to be the muscular system.
5
Other systems it Interacts with? The Muscular System interacts with many other systems. Like the respiratory system, circulatory system, skeletal system, and the digestive system.
6
Diseases? Muscular Dystrophy- causes damage to the muscle fibers. Cerebral Palsy- motor functions, and balance are affected. Polymyositis-weakness in the muscles. Dermatomyositis-leads to muscle and skin inflammation.
7
Organs? Lungs- the muscular system is helping the lungs, it keeps the exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen. Heart- the heart helps by transporting blood throughout the body, but it has to pump to do that. So the muscular system helps it out.
8
Fun Facts !!! Feel your tendon right above your heel in the back of your leg. This is the thickest tendon in your body!!
9
FYI: How to get muscles stronger? Eat foods from the meat department everyday, they are high in protein and help keep strong muscles!
10
Conclusion! Muscles are how you get through your day. Walking, eating, and etc…, but you have to help them, to help you!!! WELL HOPE YOU ENJOYED!!!
