How The iPad Pilot Started 51 Teachers submitted applications to be part of the pilot 6 Teachers where chosen to participate 230 iPads purchased - $193,000 Funding from Enhancing Education through Technology (EETT) and Microsoft K12 Voucher Program Teacher training provided by Apple Distinguished Teacher

Goals of the Pilot Increase Student Engagement Improve Student Achievement Analyze the effectiveness of iPad (tablet) technology as a teaching and learning tool Develop a tablet-supported curriculum model that can be utilized in other classrooms
