2. It is found in the second floor in the building of our president. It Starts from 20/7/2011 and it was ready since 1/9/2011.

3. It includes one computer with printer and two Cupboards, two chanons, 16 chairs, one office, one Frigidaire, two tables, telephone, internet cable, air condition, two fans, Stationery tools, procure,flayers and books related to the project.

4. On April 2012 the process of the selection of a coordinator (Prof.Dr.Jehan Ragab)& group representatives the team from South Valley University for the project of equal opportunity in higher education system were done. Also the team of the project announced about the goals of the project on the site of the university.

5. On May 2012 delegation of FU-Berlin visited South Valley University and there was a communication with the University president and other representatives from South Valley University.

14. On June 2012 the delegation of South Valley University and other delegations from Cairo University, Alexandria University and Sohag University all of them visitedFU-Berlin for one week(19-24/6/2012) In this visit the delegation exchanged experiences with Germany about the situation of gender and equal opportunities in Egyptian universities and free university in Berlin. Also visited different offices which related to family support center.

15. On July 2012:The delegation of FU-Berlin visited Equal Opportunity Center at South Valley University. There was a meeting at strategic planning unit in Ministry of Higher Education on 19 of July for discussion about the structure of questionnaire to determine the problems and needs of faculty staff members at different universities who share in this project.

16. August and September 2012 : We sent 15 items for preparing questionnaire in strategic planning unit in Ministry of Higher Education.

18. October 2012: Two representatives (Coordinator &deputy) from each university and representatives from Ministry of Higher Education visited FU-Berlin to have workshop on wiki system.

19. November 2012: The questionnaires were applied on samples from staff members(females&males) and numbers of retired staff members who did not have promotion for assistant professorship or professorship in South Valley University. Also contacts was made with many staff members (females and males) from different faculties at the university to have their C.V. Also there was a meeting at strategic planning unit in Ministry of Higher Education at Cairo (14-11-2012)for discussion about the workshop of December.

20. December 2012 : There was a workshop on I-2 of December at Cairo: Prof.Dr.Jehan Ragab( Coordinator of the project) South Valley University presented a report about data which gathered about the situation of females and males students and faculty staff members. Also presented future planning for the steps which will be done on the next year on the project.

21. On14/15 February 2013: there was a meeting in SVU between German team and SVU team at SVU. Results of German delegation visit to South Valley University, Qena, 13/14 February 2013 German delegation: Dr. Barbara Sandow (Freie Universität Berlin), Elisabeth Trepesch (Freie Universität Berlin Cairo Office) Project members of SVU:Prof. Dr. Jehan Ragab, Dr. Farag Khodeiry,, Dr. Alaa Tag El Din, Nada Mohamed, Mohamed Abdelfatah.

22.  On March 27/28 /2013: there was a training in SVU on wiki platform at SVU. Objectives:  - Technical introduction to Wiki system of Freie Universität Berlin  - Concept and structure of the Gender Egypt Wiki, how to use it for cooperation  - Improving public relations of the project: website, PR of Equal Opportunity Center Target group: Some of project team of South Valley University and other interested staff members from different faculties of South Valley University (7 staff member)

23. Possible activities:  Advice and counseling regarding the daily work of the established center, including problem solving  Discussion of activities and strategies of the center with the local project teams, against the backdrop of the results of the situation analysis  Discussion about networking and funding strategies of the centers  Events with stakeholders from within and outside the university: general information about the project, awareness raising, community outreach  Meeting with female staff members and discussion about their needs  Meeting with female students  Discussion about needs of female students at SVU  How can the Equal Opportunity Center meet these needs and support female students?  Chair: Prof. Dr. Jehan Ragab  Establishment of a nursery/kindergarten at SVU  Final discussion  future plans for the project at SVU: medium-term objectives, next steps & schedule  obligations of both SVU and FU Berlin On April 26-30/2013: There is a visiting of German team to SVU

24. The numbers of female students who come to the center are 8, and there are 7 who represent her problems by contact with project member orally without visiting the center because it's far away from her faculties.

25.  The numbers of female staff members who come to the center are 6, and there are 4 who represent her problems by contact with project member orally without visiting the center because it's far away from her faculties.  The total number of female students and staff members who visit the center are 14.

26.  1- Making a site for the project which is linked to the university's Web site.  2 - Raise awareness of the objectives of the project through workshops, lectures and exercises and written materials to be distributed in the context of the university.

27. 3 – Making a day for female students which is called ''girls day'‘(next September or October 2013) at South Valley University, such as who will be held at the University of Berlin. 4-SVU plans to establish a kindergarten on the grounds of the university. The idea arose to establish the kindergarten as a German Egyptian cooperation with a German concept and German equipment, if funding is available.

28.  5-Trainings on soft skills& Akademie skills and a career development can be organized by DAAD Kairo Akademie. The programme and guidelines of DAAD Kairo Akademie for the year 2013 sent to the project team of SVU&we will take the agreement of our president on some of these courses.
