Fresh Hope Rom 5 3 We also have joy with our troubles, because we know that these troubles produce patience. 4 And patience produces character, & character produces hope. 5 And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us. NCV

1) Fresh Hope is Built On God’s Trustworthiness- Eze 37:14
14 “ I will put My Spirit in you & you shall live & I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it & performed it,” says the Lord.

Trustworthy means that a person has been judged, because of past performance, to be deserving of trust in their words and promises. God has no problem having His track record examined. Our hope can be secure in God because of His trustworthiness.

Our knowledge and vision will always be limited, but God can give us an eternal picture of things. A new perspective can help us develop new hope as we look at a situation in a new light.
14
Jeremiah "This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it--the LORD is his name: 3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
15
Isaiah Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. 10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.
16
From who’s perspective am I drawing my hope from?
Am I believing God that He has my future in His hands?
