Presentation on theme: "“How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!” Psalm 32:1."— Presentation transcript:

“How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered!” Psalm 32:1

People who sin do not, as a rule, want their wrongdoing exposed to the light of Truth and Righteousness.

“How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered”. Today, we will examine the RIGHT WAY TO COVER SINS.

The Reason To Cover Sin The reason why people want their sins covered. They do not want dis-approval from their master. Genesis 3:6-12 The first sinners were not able to cover or conceal their sin, and neither can we.

Blame someone else. Adam blamed God for his sin, because God gave him Eve who helped him to sin. Seems like the whole world wants to blame someone else for their iniquities. The Wrong Way To Cover Sin

Commit another sin. David tried to hide his sin with Bathsheba. The result: Deception then murder. “Thou Art The Man”

The Wrong Way To Cover Sin The passing of time. “Time heals all wounds” That may work for most humans…. But God does not work on time as we do.

We must realize: No Sin Is Covered, Unless It Is Forgiven. The Right Way To Cover Sin

One must acknowledge their sin.

One must confess their sin. The Right Way To Cover Sin

One must cease their sin. The Right Way To Cover Sin

Are Your Sins Covered? Have You acknowledged them? Romans 3:23 Have you confessed them? 1 John 1:9 Are you willing to cease your sins? You are invited to respond to the invitation.
