10. The nature of iPods and other hand held devices makes it easy to conceal what is being viewed or done on them. Internet filters cannot filter out everything inappropriate. Teachers therefore need to be vigilant and monitor student activity at all times. Appropriate consequences need to be meted out when rules are not followed.
