2. W HAT IS A DIGITAL CAMERA ? A digital camera is a camera that encodes an image digitally and store it for later printing.

3. W HO INVENTED THE DIGITAL CAMERA ? An engineer worker invented the digital camera. His name was Steven Sasson, he was a worker at Eastman Kodak at the time when he invented the digital camera. He took other ideas from other cameras and just put them together to come up with one big idea. He got the idea of inventing the digital camera from Kodak because they set out an assignment to either fix a camera or too make one. He choose to make one and came up with the digital camera. He made the digital camera in December, the year of 1975.

4. A BOUT S TEVEN SASSON. Steven sasson was born in bay ridge of Brooklyn, New York. Steven grew up with electronics with interest in electronics. As a child Steven designed and built radio receivers, stereo amplifiers and transmitters in his basement from old and broken televisions and radios. He attended the Brooklyn technical high school, which is a specialized public high school where he focused on technical and scientific studies. He had a masters degree in electrical engineering from the RPI (reneddelaer polytechnic institute) in troy, New York. While studying he was working as a draftsman for a consulting engineer in little falls.

5. T HE USES OF A DIGITAL CAMERA. To capture memorable moments by; taking pictures. taking videos. It also keeps private memories.

6. P ARTS OF A CAMERA. Lens- draws the light and focuses the camera. Shutter- it opens and closes to control the light and time lights of the film. Shutter Release - the button that takes the picture. Film Advance Lever or Knob- transfers the next film to the next. Aperture – controls the diameter of the hole and light passing through. Viewfinder- where you look to see the picture where you take it. Camera body- holds the other camera pieces in place. Flash Shoe- where the flash is attached. Self- timer- takes the picture for you just by a button. Shutter Speed Control- controls the time and how many times the shutters opens and closes.

7. W HEN WAS THE FIRST DIGITAL CAMERA AND WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE ? The first digital camera was made/ invented in 1975. A camera from 1975…

8. H OW DOES A DIGITAL CAMERA WORK ? A digital camera takes the image in the electronic format which is converted into the binary format. Each image is in1's and 0's and the smallest unit, a pixel.
