Program History Early to mid 2000’s ◦ Contracted cycling rides with the Breckenridge Outdoor Adventure Center 2008 ◦ Kelvin assisted with the Paralympic Experience End of 2008 ◦ Needs Assessment conducted; cycling was ranked in the top 10 list of leisure and recreational interests Summer 2009 ◦ First ride offered with use of CycleDifferent’s cycles ◦ TRP began the process of purchasing handcycles and recumbent cycles through grants (OOF and NRPA)

Program Growth 2009 rides: ◦ 2-4 per season; 8 participants 2012 rides: ◦ 2 per month; 12-14 participants with waiting lists!
