Skilled Iowa Internship Program Participants continue to receive Unemployment Benefits Up to 8 week internship will consist of 24 hours of work or industry training, and 16 hours of educational training each week IWD will coordinate with the employer to develop and approve an appropriate training plan IWD covers the Workers’ Compensation coverage for participants
