Direct objects answer the questions What? Or who(m)? After the verb What are the direct objects in these sentences: Escuchamos la música. We listen to music No conozco a los profesores I don´t know the teachers

Direct Objects can be pronouns as well as nouns. Tocan música clásica y la escuchamos en la radio They play classical music, and we listen to it on the radio Llamo a papá. Lo llamo hoy. I call Dad. I called him today.

Rules of D.O.P. Direct Object Pronouns follow these rules: Conjugated Verb: Direct Object Pronoun is placed before the conjugated verb in the sentence Command: Direct Object Pronoun is placed after and attached to the command— An accent must be added if the command was 2 or more syllables before adding the D.O.P. Infinitive: D.O.P. can go 2 places: Before the conjugated verb After and attached to the infinitive
