"From values to future farming systems" Community Dairy In the project ‘Animal in Balance’ the following illustrative concept was developed for a Community Dairy as it might look in 2025.Community Dairy I want to explore the opportunities available to me for realising this system. In this presentation, I will explain the steps I intend to take to realise this.

Key points: Improving yields / returns by cooperating with colleagues Growth through specialisation in young stock / milking cows Arable farming provides high-quality feed (concentrates) Collective fermentation of manure Developing new production location Optimising scale of operations together with others Restructuring older production location Integrating production of oil and wind energy into town and country planning framework Well-being / care versus need for labour Better match between demand for labour and supply of labour Acquiring initial knowledge and orientation with regard to development of future operational system
