Xfactory 3.5 Benefits In addition to its already proven manufacturing product tracking capabilities, Xfactory 3.5 closes the Process Improvement Loop by – Providing a web portal for exposing data collected by Xfactory in a meaningful way for making important business decisions. – Enhancing connectivity to allow interoperability with real-time process data from a wide variety of data sources such as barcode readers and shop floor equipment. – Extending the interconnectivity of the system to other ERP and PLM systems through the PLM/ERP Connector allowing information to be shared with other business systems. – Adding core functionality to the Xfactory engine to allow the simultaneous processing of multiple WIPs and easier access to Xproperties reducing custom code programming and maintenance. Xfactory Portal The Xfactory Portal is a Tecnomatix web application built upon Microsoft's Reporting Services that allows users to view, navigate and manage the analysis of critical manufacturing data through individually rendered web-based reports.

Report Personalization Once reports have been made available to users, the report parameters can be personalized and saved in user defined folders for viewing.

Report Distribution Reports can be exposed to users on a report by report basis by linking base reports to user accounts. This enables company sensitive reports to be exposed to only the proper personnel.
