Drawing the Dive Profile  Avoid confusion and make sure you don’t miss steps. : Depth Bottom Time Depth Dive 1Dive 2 Pressure Group after Dive 1 Surface Interval between dives (hours and minutes) Pressure Group after Surface Interval Pressure Group after Dive 2 Bottom Time RNT +ABT TBT Find the RAT!

Planning Multiple Repetitive Dives  Indicate the final pressure group upon surfacing after the following series of dives. DM 1:00 Depth S RNT +ABT TBT 50’ 40 40’ 60 25 +60 85

Planning Multiple Repetitive Dives  Indicate the final pressure group upon surfacing after the following series of dives. :24 Depth RNT +ABT TBT 55’ 50 50’ 30 +

Minimum Surface Interval  Find the minimum surface interval required to complete the following series of dives. PS :11 Depth RNT +ABT TBT 50’ 60 40’ 70 +

Special Rules  Flying after diving – wait 12 hours or for repetitive dives and/or multiple days wait 18 hours (suggested)  Cold – add 10 feet  1000’ altitude limit for RDP  Safety Stop – always do a safety stop  A Safety Stop is REQUIRED for dives 100’ plus or within three letter groups of NDL, or NDL  Ascend no faster than 60 feet per minute

Emergency Decompression  If a no decompression limit is exceeded by no more than 5 minutes, an 8 minute decompression stop at 15 feet is mandatory. Upon surfacing the diver must stay out of the water for at least 6 hours.  If a no decompression limit is exceeded by more than 5 minutes a 15 foot decompression stop at 15 feet is urged (air supply permitting). Upon surfacing the diver must remain out of the water for at least 24 hours before making another dive.
