2. Our Invention Idea We thought of many problems that we have at home and school. We decided to invent something that could protect kids on bicycles. We wanted kids to be safe from falling and decided to invent a seat belt for bikes.

3.  The first car seat belt was invented in1885.  Swedish inventor, Nils Bohlin, invented the first modern seat belt in 1959. 4. Draw pictures and diagrams to show your invention and how it might work. We invented the JMAT Bike Safety, a seat belt for bikes that will keep kids from falling off and hitting their heads or bodies on the ground. The belt pulls out and latches kids onto the bike seats.
