1 Ephesians 1:12

2  We’re trying to see things from God’s perspective. He doesn’t hold men’s sins against them and He’s poured out His generosity.  It’s about knowing God, His grace is a violent expression of Himself.

3  Hope is a key part of His grace, the knowledge that the future is in His blessing.  Hope is probably the most challenging thing to people in Dunoon.

4  It’s like the mystery made known. It is secure not like hope in the world...  “I hope it is sunny tomorrow,” or, “I hope that Jesus will keep hold of me.”  Are you a hopeful person? Are you full of hope? Do you see God’s work in the world?

5  Hope needs to be pioneered  Fulfilled vision is the fruit of hopeful people

6  It could equally have said “we who are the first to obey Christ might be for the praise of His glory”  Hope is glorious because it is outstanding.
