Program celoživotného vzdelávania GRUNDTVIG The Lifelong Learning Programme was established by Decision No 1720/2006/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 November 2006 single financial instrument available to the Commission for its directly managed education and training policies in European Union supports learning opportunities from childhood to old age in every single life situation

Program celoživotného vzdelávania GRUNDTVIG LIFELONG LEARNING PROGRAMME (LLP) 2007 – 2013 COMENIUS (pre-school and school education up to the upper secondary education) ERASMUS (higher education and education at tertiary level) LEONARDO DA VINCI (vocational education and training; except tertiary level) GRUNDTVIG (adult education) Transversal Programme 4 key activities: 1. Policy cooperation and innovation 2. language learning 3. ICT 4. dissemination and exploitation of results Programme Jean Monnet (European integration)

Comenius – supporting action for school (from pre- primary school to upper secondary) Erasmus – supporting exchanges of students in higher education as well as cooperation between universities and colleges Leonardo da Vinci – supporting action in initial and continuing vocational education and training

Grundtvig – supporting actions in the field of adult education Transversal programme – covering activities in 4 themes across all sectors of education and training (policy cooperation and innovation in education and training, foreign language teaching, development of ICT based content and services and dissemination of results of the programme Jean Monet – supporting institutions and actions in favour of European integration

Program celoživotného vzdelávania GRUNDTVIG Objectives of LLP General objective to contribute through lifelong learning to the development of the EU as advanced knowledge-based society Specific objectives (f.e.) to contribute to the development of quality of lifelong learning(LL) to help improve the quality and accessibility for LL to promote language learning and linguistic diversity to contribute to increased participation in LL by people of all ages

Program celoživotného vzdelávania GRUNDTVIG LLP countries The programme is open to: Member States of EU (except Malta) EFTA-EEA countries: Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein Candidate countries: Turkey Countries eligible for some actions: Croatia, Switzerland
