Be Guided by the Holy Spirit Learn to hear His voice Be obedient Trust as you take steps of faith

Watch Your attitude! Beware of pride and independence. Don’t take offence or blame others. Be quick to forgive. Trust God to vindicate you.

Receive God’s LOVE. Let your heart be transformed Let God’s desires become your desires Please God rather than people

The Refining Process ‘But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver...’ (Malachi 3: 2-3)

‘Treasure in jars of clay’ Learn to rejoice in the suffering ‘We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.’ (2 Corinthians 4: 8-9) ‘Suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.’ (Romans 5: 3-5)

Persevere and Endure Wait on the Lord. Seek His face. Become desperate - Cry out. Don’t resist His discipline! God is our only hope.

Humble Yourself ‘Humble yourselves therefore under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy prowls around like a roaring loin looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers through the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered for a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.’ (1 Peter 5:6-11)

Cover Yourself and Stand Firm Put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) Cover yourself with the BLOOD of Jesus Guard your gates. Be careful who you let in! Resist the enemy and he must flee!

Holiness and being set apart ‘Be holy because I am holy.... Live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear.’ (I Peter 1:16-17) ‘In the world but not of the world’

Our bodies are Temples of the Holy Spirit Eat wisely Get enough rest/sleep Get enough exercise Reduce stress

Be encouraged! God holds you in the palm of his hand.
