Show Precisely Instruction that carries weight – Power and Authority Practice what you preach Instruction we must give – The commandments: – The Shema – The Ten Commandments A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke. Pr. 13:1

Things to Remember and Practice 1. Instruction is that which you speak with your mouth, but teach with your own actions and behaviors. 2. It is best to use our place of authority in instructing our children based on a good and healthy relationship of mutual trust & respect. 3. A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not listen to rebuke. Pr. 13:1 4. Take every opportunity to teach the morals and ethics of GOD to your children.
