“you can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both”

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth” Verse 19 “….God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment” I Timothy 6:17 Earthly treasures are temporal and cannot be trusted.

I did not withhold my heart from my pleasures…Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done and indeed all was vanity and grasping for thee wind. Earthly treasures can lead to temptation sin, and destruction “People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” I Timothy 6:9-10
