2. MITOSIS 2014 The annual sports and cultural fest of
Deccan College of Medical Sciences.
Hosted by the final year students of Deccan College of Medical Sciences, it’s the only event that brings together the entire student body and staff once a year.
From a humble beginning, this event has now acquired the repute of a pivotal event in the calendars of all Medical Schools of Andhra Pradesh.

The college was instituted in 1985.
It has produced innumerable doctors over 25 years.
This year is our 30th Anniversary.
Two major hospitals are associated with Deccan College of Medical Sciences(DCMS), Owaisi Hospital and Research Centre(OHRC) and Princess Esra Hospital (PEH)
Doctors have been spreading it’s glory far and wide, even internationally.
The organizing batch of 2010 is the 26th batch of this esteemed institution and will be hosting MITOSIS 2014.

6. Who will be attending?
There will be full attendance of the students and staff of Deccan College of Medical Sciences throughout the event including 1000 current medical students, 500 internees and ex-students and 200 staff members.
The students and staff of Deccan - College of Pharmacy, College of Physiotherapy, College of Hospital Management and College of Nursing will also be invited that adds up to another students.

Gandhi Medical College,
Apollo Medical College and other colleges
And more medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh adding up to 500 more students.
