Borbinha (IST/INESC)2 Networked Digital Libraries (NDL): Perspective and Definition A networked digital library is defined not only as a repository of information, with the traditional mission of organize, preserve and provide access to that contents, but as a system with also the mission of to disseminate that information and actively stimulate, support and register the process of its creation.
