Hall of Fame Qualifications Nominees must be employed as a teacher of Agriculture Education for a minimum of 25 years or a combination of teaching and years of direct service in Agricultural Education such as an agriculture teacher educator, or an administrative or a service position such as an area teacher, region coordinator or state agriculture education director. A person with less than 25 years of service may be considered if the person died in service or if the person has a disability preventing continued service in Agriculture Education. Only one person currently teaching or in a direct service position in Ag Ed may be elected to the Hall of Fame each year, if they meet all other qualifications. Mr. Conrad Davidson -Taught at Ware County High School for 33 Years -GVATA Teacher of Teachers -South Region Agriculture Education Distinguished Service Award in 2010

Mr. Gary Minyard -Teacher in Franklin County since 1976 - Thirty-Three State CDE Winning Teams - Two-Time GVATA Teacher of the Year

Mr. Dana Perkins -Area Teacher for Georgia Department of Education, 1979-2010 -Coordinated Ag. Mechanics, EMC, and Ag. Sales CDE’s -Assisted in the Development of Agricultural Mechanics Curriculum Currently in use by the state
